The Davic Family cannot thank Carrie Butler enough for the impact she made on our daughter Mikayla’s life and her path to higher education.  Carrie kept very close tabs on Mikayla’s fund raising efforts for Make A Wish from the 8th grade thru her senior year at Baldwin High School.  In doing so, her passion to get the word out on Mikayla led to numerous media opportunities on the local, national and international front which included an Emmy Award winning television show and the Wall Street Journal.  There is no doubt in my mind that Carrie’s pursuit of media attention and getting Mikayla in front this audience played a very instrumental role in fulfilling her dream of being part of the entering class of 2019 at the University of Southern California to study TV and Film Production.  We are forever indebted to Carrie and her dedication to those she serves.

Michael Davic, Parent, Baldwin High School

She is my “go to” person every time. From the boardroom to the “green” room, from visioning to clean up, Carrie’s talents and work ethic are limitless/boundless. The only thing greater is the size of her heart.”

“In my decade-long association with Carrie Butler, I’ve often described the two of us as a dynamic duo. Our frequent project pairings produced topnotch outcomes—surely a result of our unique chemistry. Yet, truth be told, Carrie’s real skill is her ability to conjure up that unique chemistry & apply it at will. Carrie flexibly, reliably & enthusiastically suits up—be it a colleague or client. It is a rare aptitude, indeed, to create the chemistry of dynamic duos (or trios or teams) again & again.”

Among these are superb attention to detail; passion for the projects she manages; and even temper in crisis situations and a keen sense of how to challenge people to do their best work and distinguish the strengths in people. “Over the last decade, and on multiple occasions, Carrie Butler joined with me in my capacity with The National Flag Foundation and the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, as well as the various government officials and private organizations to achieve a variety of significant accomplishments. In each instance, Carrie has taken a leadership role. For instance, Carrie co-chaired a committee formed to create a major City function as part of Pittsburgh’s 250th birthday celebration: The Rededication of the Boulevard of the Allies. This event drew local, national and international attention. Additionally, as part of the recent G-20 Summit held in Pittsburgh, she led a group of academic organizations and institutions in our area to put together a major educational conference at the Carnegie Music Hall on the University of Pittsburgh Campus, called “ Challenges for the G-20. Carrie not only helped create the concepts for events such as those referenced above, but she also forged relationships between the many participating groups and organizations, most of which remain strong today thanks to her coordination and public relations expertise. I trust if you would contact officials from the entities she worked with to bring about major events such as those I referenced, they would echo my belief that Carrie is a professional, and a special person blessed with the ability to accomplish significant goals by working with individuals and groups of diverse interests. I believe Carrie Butler would greatly enhance any entity she would come to represent.”

— Romel L. Nicholas, Esquire,  Gaitens, Tucceri & Nicholas, P.C.
